I'm surprise....

That there is this angmoh with the surname Yeo!

I was just surfing the WGSN site and I came across an article on "10 photographers worth looking out for" and happened to click the PC.P Agency which Ellis Parrinder (Top indie artists photographer) is under and saw this other photographer named David Yeo. With an impression that he is a fellow countryman made big in the UK, I went to research more about him in his website. It was then I saw his photo!

'He's ang moh!', I thought immediately.

Surprise, surprised!

Check out his gallery. Quite cool!

Pride プライド

I can say this is the best Japanese drama I had ever watched. It's not slow, not draggy, very romantic and at the same time it's filled with intense Hockey games! This is one of the show that made Kimura appear more heroic then he already is! And it didn't make him too arrogant like alot of his movies. Plus the song by Queen is perfect! The japanese are very good with finding the perfect song for all their dramas.

I think I bought the box series (VCD) 3 or 4 years ago when it first hit the stores. Nana told me Kimura is super suave in it and is a must-see drama so I went to get it! And I was hooked!!! Very nice and romantic lei the show!!!

Here's the opening!

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

I was watching 娱乐百分百 one night and 小猪 was telling 小鬼 about the scenes in Pride and it reminded me of the memorable scenes in the show too! So I had to watch it again! Too bad there aren't DVD version of the show but not I will definately buy it!!!

I'm now at epi 5 of 9. Losing sleep over the dorama! Hehehehe!

This post is more then 1 month old....

Since I spent a long time uploading all these pics, I thought I should just still upload it. Don't waste the limited photo space I have in blogspot!

Here are my Tokyo Again photos! Enjoy!

Dulcy on board the A380!
My turn for a picture! Bunny is travelling with me!
There is a new side compartment at the window seats in the A380
and ours wasn't properly cleaned!
We found a piece of tissue inside!
Obviously the previous passengers mistook it for a dustbin...
(-_-)

Well I selfishly "choup" the 2 seater window seats,
the rest of them had to squeeze in the aisle seats....
Sorry lah, leg long, needs more space lah!

Dulcy packed her stuff nicely into the compartment, It's extremely handy,
hope all planes in future will have this and I will not dread sitting next to the window!
Our night snack!
Turkey ham and cheese Panini.
I asked for white wine to help me sleep but it didn't work at all!
I didn't manage to sleep much! The seats were soooo uncomfortable!
Ended up with a super sore back and legs!
The view at 430am....
What a beautiful sight!
Dulcy and I went to wash up before they start the breakfast.
It was 430am and we are already slapping on makeup.
Gosh....
My skincare and makeup!
The Paul & Joe makeup case (bday pressie from the girls)
are always very handy when I'm travelling!
Kim, doing her makeup at the airport while waiting for the airport transfer to arrive!
Her lovely Paul and Joe suitcase is so eye-catching!
This is one of the nice Ton Katsu place in Akabane station.

The only Japanese food my boss will eat is fried pork cutlet lor...

See my seto!
Golden brown pork strips with cheese is waiting for me to devour it!
Miso soup has mini clams in it!
When I showed Boo this pic, he say something that I didn't expect at all!
He said, "Mickey Mouse!"
Can you tell????
My boss got upgraded to a suite because all 10 of us was held for more then 30 mins waiting for the chambermaid to clean our rooms and this toilet in his suite is fully automated!
All of us are so intrigued with the seat cos it will automatically lift the cover when we open the door! Not only that, it will light up also!
Damn the japanese!!!
PC Girls!
My boss got us these huge grapes!
So sweet!!!!

Look!
The grape is almost as big as the cherry tomato!
My new toy!
Hanari Tofu in Halloween cat costume!
Cute right!!!
My blistered feet!
After 1 whole day of wearing the crocs mary-jane,

My feet were covered with blisters due to the constant rubbing against the rubber shoes!
I thought they were comfortable lor!
My feet were hurting so bad that I skipped the delicious Ramen session with the rest of time and limped back to the hotel room after grabbing some convenient food.
I got the Onigiri and tea from the convenience store and a mexican MOS burger for dinner!
Sigh.... I miss the delicious Ramen.....
I got a cake from Chocoholic too!!!!
I saw this bear cake from the poster from the previous trip and was dying to try it this time round!!! So I got the cake!!!! This cake not cheap lor... It's ¥588 (¥617.40 with tax) which is S$8.50!

Gonna sleep and not eat it 1st!

Cute right!
I couldn't "bear" to eat it!!!
(pun not intended! Haha)
I ♥ the cake!
Pass this Comme Ca store in Shinjuku and saw a collaboration with a certain character in the window and Dulcy immediately say that she is Lu Guang Zhong's girlfriend! WAHAHA!!!
Mobile Crepe van in Shinjuku!
Road's close on Sundays! It was damn crowded!

Me and Dulcy at the newly revamped "Girls" section on the basement 1 of Shinjuku's Famed Isetan. Here we are at the quietiest part of Isetan - outside the toilet.
Huhu...
Made Dulcy pose with the on-coming crowd at the Shinjuku station.
The ticket covering her mouth is her idea... Haha...
I looked like an idoit lor.....
I thought Dulcy was going to take a half body shot of me with the crowd at the back so I stood with my knees bent so she can capture the ppl at the back.
But when I got my camera back, the pic shows me standing like this!!!
Bloody hell! Haha...
On the way from Sunshine plaza walking back to our hotel.
And we saw these 4 people performing an "art"?
The 2 guys kneeling are actually doing something like a break dance.
The lady and the guy seated was stationary.
I wonder what message were they trying to put across???

Dinner time!

Angie wanna eat Phyllis's beef rice and noodle set!
I ordered a bowl of beef udon!
Look at the semi-cooked egg!

The york is slightly darker in colour then what we have at home!
It's so rich and creamy!
Phyllis got the other Halloween edition Tofu for her kids!
Now my Tofu have a friend!

The next day we have Tonkatsu again!
This one is more expensive then the one we had the 1st day.
They gave us a bowl of sesame each table to grind!

There is an Ojisan behind us, smiling at us and asked where we're from and told us this 2 set is the most popular and the most delicious set!
Special sauce for dipping!

Halloween edition Crepe!

It was Halloween-everything in Tokyo!

Pretty cigarattes for da ladies!

Cute pig pig!
Love this store building lah!!!
So GOD DAMN COOL!!!!!
The Cath Kidston store in Daikanyama is so pretty!
It wasn't open yet and we were standing outside the store looking
at all the merchandise they are selling.

LayC and I had came across the Cath Kidston catalogue once inside a japanese magazine we bought and when we saw the price, it was like day robbery lor! Hahaha...
The double or more of what they are selling in England lor!
Can you imagine it's more??!! Anything else in sterling pounds is already like so expensive!
Entrance of a traditional Japanese house. Look! So low!
Traditonal Japanese Symbols!
We came across a Gallery and we went in to take a look!
Lovely cushion cases!
Lovely artworks on the wall!
I wasn't even sure If I can take photos so I sneak a quick pic!

Time was running out so we thought we better head back to the hotel to meet the rest of them to head to the hotel. But when we got to the small Daikanyama station, we heard the station manager announcing something and everyone just stood there. The ticketing outlets are all closed and we saw some chinese characters on the LED screen - "人事务....blah blah blah....". So we immediatly assumed someone jump on the tracks and commited suicide!!!

I freaked out lah! Cos that's the only way I know how to get to Daikanyama! We need to get back to the JR line from Shibuya station! But the only way I know is now closed for operations! Cabs are extremely expensive in Tokyo lor! Dulcy and Kim will kill me man! I was the one who suggested to go there!
So, I immediately asked the station manager for directions cos I overheard him telling some other commuters the next possible station to take which is the Ebisu station. I have never been to Ebisu lor! Panic man!!!
!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone commited suicide?!??!?!
How to go back?!?!?!
Walking to the Ebisu station with the direction,
"walk in front, turn left and blah blah blah (in japaneses), 10 mins walk"
And so we just walk.....
Some cool shops along the way so we assumed it's the right way.
Love this "Katie" store sign!
The brick wall just made the words stand out so much!
We got a bit lost and we asked some kind people along the way. All they can do is point and try to tell us as many landmarks as they can with their limited english and we were like playing a game of charade!!! There was a kind lady with her son. She was very helpful in helping us understand. We reached a small station and we thought we could link it back to the JR line but the young station duty officer wasn't of any help.

I asked him can we get back to the Ikebukuro station from here? He told us " JR line, go up turn left" then I asked again like can this station link? He repeats the same thing again lor!!!! For like 4 times!!! I gave up! So we went up the stairs and dunno turn where cos infront of us there is a "left" and behind us also another "left"!!! Piangz...
Time was running out and we panicked lor, cos we have been walking for close to 30 mins despite the station manager at Daikanyama saying was 10 mins! We were outside a Starbucks cafe and there was a lady giving out drinks so we try to ask her for the Ebisu station. She doesn't speak any english so from her actions we can guess it's where she pointed then we tried to ask her is it every far??? She couldn't understand and keep trying to direct us by gesturing. So we gave up and thank her for her kindness and headed towards the directed path.
And less then 1 min, we saw the bloody station in front of us lor! It's a big station as well, complete with malls and stuff! HIAYO!!!! What an adventure man!!!

So tired and hungry, we bought riceballs to eat. We decided to spend the last bit of money on snacks for the family and last min gifts.
I ♥ Chocoholic!
Behind Chocoholic is the Swimmer store which I absolutely love too!!!!
3 of us,
eating happily outside the hotel
since there is no eating or drinking in the lobby!
We shared a Bento.
I was attracted to this bento set but it turned out to be rather disappointing...
It didn't really taste as good as it looks....
Maybeline, showing me the 2 plush she got for her kids!
She wasn't aware that I was taking her pic as well! Hehe....
Throughout the whole trip, she refused to let me take any photo of her!
OOPSY! huhu....
My pretty cake box!
I made a terrible mistake not to eat the mousse I got from Chocoholic!
But the time I reached the airport, the whole thing just turn to liquid!
Sian!
The Hello Kitty plane caught Maybel's attention and we went to take a closer look!
At 1st I thought it was Japan Airlines, who knows it was actually Taiwan's EVA Air!
Surprise surprise!
So now, after 1 month, I am finally done with this post! Gosh!!!
