To Hong Kong to Hong Kong to eat a Fat Pig!

Shortly after our Tokyo trip, we are travelling again. This time, we are heading to Hong Kong! The purpose of the Hong Kong trip is to attend the "Hong Kong Lingerie Mode Fair" and also to visit our counters there as well.
The view we always see on postcards and movies -
The coast line of Hong Kong Island.
The weather now there is very foggy. We took an extra 20mins to land.

In the MTR, going to Mong kok!
Always love their silver seats - so futuristic.

Dinner at 北京楼. (Peking Gardens)
1st-timers will always get to "hammer" the mud covering the "begger's chicken"
and take a polaroid but this time round they use a digital camera
instead and print out on paper instead.

The result - Not so nice photo!
I took a better shot of them!!!

The girls - trying to break a wish bone!

And hurray for Dulcy who made a wish and broke the bone!!!

My favourite chinese dish - 北京烤鸭!
Yummy yum!

Me doing a roast duck wrap!
*notice my tired face???*

Sweet fried banana ball!

On the way back to the hotel, we pass by the Fendi store
with big big bearbrick!

Miu miu at Tsimshatsui - so gorgeous the exterior of the store!

More food?
LayC, me and Dulcy shared a delicious cold noodle snack
at Mong Kok. The spiciness and garlicy taste is so yummy!

Dulcy - waiting for her 1st 许留山drink!
The mango drink there is so popular, I had to at least have 1 cup each time I go HK.

Tabloids!
A must-read in HK!

A tourist must do - take pictures in the MTR station.

My turn!

Sanrio X Olympics!
Cute!
This display is in one of the malls in Kowloon Bay.

Dim sum!
A must-eat meal in HK.
This is one of my favourite - a 奶黄包!
It's custard with crab roe filling that oozes out!

See the custard and crab roe filling?

Wenn and Dulcy got excited over the hot, steamy baos!

Me and the cute Hanamaru! Side-kick of badz batz maru!

Hello Kitty protects the Pandas!

So funny the Badz batz maru!

Hui Lau Shan again!
This time we're at Times Square at Causeway Bay!

Yung Kee Roast goose at Central - most famous in HK!

The girls with Cai Hong and lotsa roast goose outside Yung Kee!

Century egg starters.
Notice the creamy yolks???

What I don't eat - Braised duck wings and webbs!

Steamed chicken
Interesting way of placing the chicken....

Roast Goose
The most famous dish there.
But I only dare to try a piece.

Roast Pig and char siew platter.
I only have these few pieces.... too much meat liao!

Sharks' Fin in chicken broth.
Nice texture and soup!

Fried fish and veggie!

Big prawns with pine-nuts!
I was nibbling the pine-nuts the whole night!

Breakfast at 大家乐 before we head to the Fair.
I had the same breakfast for 2 days!
Boring me! hahaha...

After the fair, we went back to the hotel and head out to 糖朝to have dinner
with Joyce! She came for the fair too!

We order the House specialty - the bucket of Tau huey!
The bucket is quite big and was stated in the menu it's for 3-5 person.

Very smooth Tau huey - melts in the mouth in an instant!

Here's Joyce and Wenn!

Guess what.... 许留山again!!! Hahaha...
Last round before we go back!

Dulcy ordered a Hashima for herself!

LayC and I shared a mini Mango Platter!

XO sauce radish cake.
Very delicious but a lil too salty!

Saw this countdown timer at the Central MTR station when we are heading to the Airport express station to take the train.
We had already check-in in the Kowloon Station in the morning!
Dump the heaving luggage to go for more shopping!

Inside the Airport Express train!

Us!

We got so excited to sit this flight cos the plane is like so new!
We are so suah-ku I tell u.. we got excited over everything! From the bigger screen
to the nicer blanket to the well-lighted toilet!
We exceptionally love the the control! Not getting in the way anymore!

LayC looks very happy to go home!
Me too!!!

I know I miss going on trips to HK and Tokyo with u too!! I remember each trip is filled with endless shop visits but at the end of the day we'll make a last minute dash to the stores (dragging our tired legs along), in a desperate attempt to buy something back even if it's meji sweets!! Hahahaha!!

Big Kisses to u!!
